TRAVEL 2012. March 01-04. International Tourism Exhibition

Trying to renew ourselves again and again, year after year, is a challenge. But we love challenges and we love the Travel Exhibition! After an exhibition with 29 countries, 440 exhibitors on 12,000 square metres, a successful Himalaya Expo and 55,000 visitors we are gearing up for yet another 'big thing' between 1 and 4 March 2012. The chairman of the Hungarian Parliament's Sports and Tourism Committee Mr. Erik Bánki has already assured of his support and he assumed the role of the chief patron of the Travel Exhibition.

'Go travelling and do sports. Go to the Olympics, go to London!' is our slogan as the main theme
of the exhibition has been inspired by the Olympic Games. We will be offering 'must see' programmes for sports-loving visitors in the Olympic Pavilion. Visitors will have plenty to see in the best possible atmosphere thanks to a spectacular opening ceremony, a show of the various Olympic sports, a historical exhibition of Hungarian Olympic champions of the past and today as well as a special exhibition, a 'Gastronomic Olympics'. High profile sports managers and top athletes from Hungary will also be present in the exhibition in person. The themes of the Travel exhibition will be supplemented with sports in the year of the Olympic games.

Professional Business Lounge is the name of our other novelty, which has been created for our
exhibitors concentrating exclusively on trade visitors. The negotiating area that will be open in the first day of the exhibition will serve as a meeting point for representatives of the trade, where they can conclude deals in a comfortable and sophisticated, up-to-date setting.

Guest of honour of next year's Travel Exhibition will be Poland, while Debrecen will be in the limelight
from among the Hungarian towns.

Among our on-line novelties there will be a virtual travel show and an even stronger collective media
activity but there will again be a 'best attraction' contest and the promotional offerings of our exhibitors will be presented on our homepage again.

Our discounts will be offered this year again, as usual:

The Travel Exhibition will, as before, be accompanied by the Budapest Boat Show and the PORT.hu Bike Expo. We hope to see you again in 2012 in the Travel Exhibition.

Ticket prices
Daily ticket:
- on the spot: 2000 HUF
- online: 1600 HUF

Discount ticket: 1400 HUF
The discount ticket is for children under 14 accompanied by adult, pensioners, juveniles with a student card and disabled people by showing their card.

Family ticket: 4000 HUF
The family ticket is valid for two adults and three children under 14.

Student-group ticket: 1000 HUF/person
For a group with minimum 15 students, in this case it is free for 2 accompanying teachers.

It is free for children under 6 years.

One ticket can be used once. Tickets are valid for all co-events.

Hungary Card owners can buy a discount ticket.
